Insulating refractory castables are also called lightweight refractory castables. It has the characteristics of small volume density, low thermal conductivity, high thermal insulation performance, and can be poured on-site. It is also called lightweight insulating castable. It is widely used in the field of thermal insulation engineering of equipment such as boilers and industrial kilns. It is mainly used for the insulation of kilns and to prevent the loss of heat sources.

Lightweight thermal insulation castable
Lightweight thermal insulation castable is a castable refractory material with a true porosity of not less than 45%, also known as lightweight thermal insulation castable. It has the characteristics of light bulk density, high strength, good thermal insulation performance, low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation performance, uniform furnace temperature, energy saving and high refractory strength, strong overall performance, good spalling resistance and long service life. It is mainly used for the thermal insulation layer of kilns and can be repaired and processed into various shapes or integral furnace linings.
Lightweight mullite castable
Mullite castable has the characteristics of high strength, good volume stability and excellent thermal shock resistance. It is resistant to erosion, scouring and wear during use. It has a high operating temperature and can be used as a working lining in direct contact with flames. Suitable for petrochemical industry tubular heating furnace light diesel, ethane cracking furnace lining, atmospheric and vacuum furnace, sulfur recovery unit, steam boiler, tortoise shell mesh insulation layer, two-vessel cylinder and pipeline insulation single layer, other industrial furnace doors, fire-watching holes, observation hole door linings, etc.
Alumina hollow ball castable
Alumina hollow ball castable mainly relies on the closed pores of the hollow ball raw material and the pores in the product matrix to obtain higher thermal resistance. When the product porosity is constant, the more dispersed the pores inside the product, the smaller the pore diameter, and the greater the convection heat transfer resistance inside the pores; at the same time, according to the scattering principle, the resistance of phonon heat conduction and photon heat conduction increases, and the radiation heat transfer decreases.
